The Helios Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece modern jazz big band based in the Tampa Bay area and St. Petersburg, Florida. The group is directed by David Manson. Swing, Latin, bebop and straight-ahead jazz are played by this modern big band.
The 20-piece Helios Jazz Orchestra performs at the Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg on Tuesday, November 3 at 7:30 PM. The big band will feature vocalists Andrea Moraes Manson and Rita Wilson in a program that runs the gamut from Tom Jobim's "No More Blues" to Mario Bauza's "Frenzy" to "Too Close for Comfort"and more!
