Helios at NOVA 535 on July 19!

The Helios Jazz Orchestra returns to NOVA 535 for a concert of Latin and Swing music on Tuesday July 19 at 7 PM.  

Featured singers include Rio de Janeiro singer Andrea Moraes Manson and the deep bass voice of David Thut.  It's an evening of big band jazz, dance, fine catered snacks and then an open jazz jam session!  Swing dancing, cabaret seating, full bar, catered treats & valet parking... all for an admission of $20.

Concert - Sunday, August 16!

The Helios Jazz Orchestra is performing on Sunday, August 16 at 3 PM at the SPC Music Center.

Eddie Rosicky and Rita Wilson are the featured singers. Selections include “Witchcraft”, “Black Coffee”, “Agua de Beber”, “Gravy Waltz” and others.

Admission is $10 at the door. There are no advance tickets available. The Music Center at St. Petersburg College is located at 6605 Fifth Ave. North in St. Petersburg, FL 33733.

Jazz Appreciation Month!

In honor of Jazz Appreciation Month, come see lead trumpeter Tom Parmerter knock whole Dewey Decimal sequences off the library shelves at “Jazz in the Stacks” – Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30.

The Helios Jazz Orchestra plays a free concert at the West St. Petersburg Public Library located at the St. Petersburg College campus. Guest singers Rita Wilson and Michael Cerone join with the band. This concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, the EMIT series and the City of St. Petersburg.

Helios at the Hickman Theater

The Helios Jazz Orchestra performs at the Catherine Hickman Theater in Gulfport on Tuesday, April 14. The concert begins at 7:30 PM and admission is $10 at the door.
