Who We Are

The Helios Jazz Orchestra was formed in late 2008 and performs Swing, Bebop, Latin and Contemporary jazz. Helios has been active performing at the Clearwater Jazz Festival, Palladium Theater, Ybor Jazz Festival, WMNF Jazz Jam, the Salvador Dali Museum, SPC Jazz Festival and other events. Helios has also backed singers Kevin Mahogany, Kathy Kosins, Belinda Womack, Denise Moore, Sasha Tuck and others. Helios performs every third Tuesday of the month at NOVA 535 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Helios Starts the New Year at NOVA 535 - Jan. 18

On Tuesday, January 18, the Helios Jazz Orchestra returns to the beautiful NOVA 535 venue for an evening of big band jazz, dance, fine catered snacks and then an open jazz jam session!  Swing dancing, cabaret seating, full bar, catered treats & valet parking... all for an admission of only $10.  Our special guest singer is Sasha Tuck.
