Who We Are

The Helios Jazz Orchestra was formed in late 2008 and performs Swing, Bebop, Latin and Contemporary jazz. Helios has been active performing at the Clearwater Jazz Festival, Palladium Theater, Ybor Jazz Festival, WMNF Jazz Jam, the Salvador Dali Museum, SPC Jazz Festival and other events. Helios has also backed singers Kevin Mahogany, Kathy Kosins, Belinda Womack, Denise Moore, Sasha Tuck and others. Helios performs every third Tuesday of the month at NOVA 535 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Hot Summer - Cool Swing with Helios at NOVA 535 on May 17

The Helios Jazz Orchestra returns to the swanky NOVA 535 event venue for a concert Tuesday, May 17 at 7 PM. Guest singers include Bravo Contante and Sash Tuck.  It's an evening of great jazz at a beautiful venue.  Admission is $20 ($10 with the discount flyer).
