Who We Are

The Helios Jazz Orchestra was formed in late 2008 and performs Swing, Bebop, Latin and Contemporary jazz. Helios has been active performing at the Clearwater Jazz Festival, Palladium Theater, Ybor Jazz Festival, WMNF Jazz Jam, the Salvador Dali Museum, SPC Jazz Festival and other events. Helios has also backed singers Kevin Mahogany, Kathy Kosins, Belinda Womack, Denise Moore, Sasha Tuck and others. Helios performs every third Tuesday of the month at NOVA 535 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Nov. 15 - Margo Rey & Helios at NOVA 535

Singer/songwriter sensation Margo Rey performs with her quartet and joins the Helios Jazz Orchestra as vocalist in this very special concert at NOVA 535 on Tuesday, November 15.  Margo has performed with many well-respected musicians in the jazz & pop community including Roy Hargrove, James Clay, Cy Coleman, Earl Havin and Earl Klugh. Read more about Margo here: http://www.margorey.com/
