Who We Are

The Helios Jazz Orchestra was formed in late 2008 and performs Swing, Bebop, Latin and Contemporary jazz. Helios has been active performing at the Clearwater Jazz Festival, Palladium Theater, Ybor Jazz Festival, WMNF Jazz Jam, the Salvador Dali Museum, SPC Jazz Festival and other events. Helios has also backed singers Kevin Mahogany, Kathy Kosins, Belinda Womack, Denise Moore, Sasha Tuck and others. Helios performs every third Tuesday of the month at NOVA 535 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

License to Thrill - Helios Plays Spy Music


The 18-piece Helios Jazz Orchestra plays your favorite film & TV spy music at the swanky NOVA 535 event venue on Tuesday, December 20. Denise Moore, Andrea Manson, David Thut & Tyler Freeman, are our special guest vocalists performing theme music from James Bond films, Mission Impossible, The Man from U.N.C.L.E, The Prisoner, Get Smart, Austin Powers and other favorites. A jazz jam session follows!
It's a concert of hip & groovy spy music with catered tastings, spy gadgets, free valet parking & a full cash bar. Admission is $15 at the door. Sponsored in part through EMIT, NOVA 535 and the City of St. Petersburg.
